Am I crazy?

Perhaps it's the result of too little sleep and too much stress at work and on the home (selling) front, but I think I actually like this jumpsuit from BCBG. Sure, $380 is far too much money to spend on such a trendy item -- After all, won't we be saying that jumpsuits were so "2009" in a year or so? I certainly hope so. -- But I admittedly like the overall vibe here, which is a relaxed yet sophisticated weekend look. I can see the model eating alfresco at some chic New York eatery in Greenwich Village or something.

Now normally, I despise jumpsuits/onesies on adult women without exception (or so I thought, anyway). At best, I'm left thinking "It's not that bad" or "I don't hate it, but it'd be cuter if it were a dress". More often than not though, jumpsuits leave me wondering "Why, God, why? Do you not own a mirror?" and shaking my head in wonder.

As Jessica Simpson has so unfortunately illustrated, jumpsuits are often times worse from behind than from the front. And yet...even from the back, I think this is OK. Perhaps even flattering on the right shape. The top is fitted enough to show off a smaller upper body and the bottom is forgiving enough to hide a pear shape and/or muscular thighs. So, while this jumpsuit is too bare on top to work for me (I need more support), I can't help but think this may be the exception to my ban on jumpsuits.

Help me, dear readers, and let me know your thoughts:
